The Prince’s Trust
Youth charity The Prince’s Trust helps change young lives. It gives practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation. It works with 14 to 30 year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law.

Depending on the outcome of this process, the programme can then offer mentoring support and, for those that really need it, financial support to start a business or mentoring support to secure goals in employment, education or training.
Volunteering as a mentor
Business Mentors provide mentoring support to young people with a viable business idea. This role is about guidance and helping the young people to develop their businesses whilst also building their confidence and skills.
A limited number of opportunities are available in selected areas. All volunteers must commit to support The Prince’s Trust for 24 months or longer and provide 2-4 hours per month per young person. You will receive full training and ongoing support by The Trust for this role.
