North Staffs Business Initiative
Business Initiative is a Local Enterprise Agency formed in 1981, covering all of North Staffordshire (Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire Moorlands, Newcastle Borough) and Staffordshire areas (alongside its sister agency Stafford Enterprise). We offer free advice for anyone considering starting a new business; free or subsidised short training courses for start-ups and business support through mentors.
We offer one-to-one support via appointments and monthly training courses.
Business Initiative also owns small business studios, available on subsidised rental on a monthly licence basis, and operates managed industrial workspace – both in Stoke-on-Trent.
Some financial support is available for unemployed clients who want to start a business within the Stoke-on-Trent areas.
